Example Purdue semester
MA 16100 (5 credits) B, CS 18000 (4) A-, ENGL 10600 (4) A, COM 11400 (3) B+.
(3.0 × 5 + 3.7 × 4 + 4.0 × 4 + 3.3 × 3) ÷ 16 = (15 + 14.8 + 16 + 9.9) ÷ 16 = 3.48.
Before finals, use the final grade calculator for each class to see which ones can still move up a letter, since a 5-credit course changes your GPA the most.
